Ministers: After 15 November, no employee who has not received the vaccine will be admitted to his work

During today's cabinet meeting chaired by Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Acting Minister of Health; About the latest developments in dealing with the Corona virus, efforts to address it, and about the situation in the supply and manufacture of anti-Corona vaccines, and citizens received them. In this regard, Dr. Mustafa Madbouli called on citizens to obtain a fast-track anti-Corona vaccine. In particular, the State has provided millions of doses of the various vaccines approved to its citizens during the past period, with the substantial support of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the President of the Republic. The Prime Minister indicated that the allocation of vaccine centres at the level of the Republic was being expanded; In an effort to supplement the vaccination of citizens, he stressed that the decision by the High Committee for the Management of the Corona Virus Crisis, which had already been issued, would not allow, after 15 November, any staff member who had not received the vaccine to enter his workplace, or would have to perform a PCR analysis every week, and it was decided from 1 December that no citizen would be allowed to enter any state facility to terminate the procedure. Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar explained that according to the World Health Organization (WHO) latest Corona virus report released on October 31, the World Health Organization (WHO) had reported that the rate of change in the number of infections worldwide was 1.6%, and the number of deaths was 1.8%.
During the presentation, Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar referred to the current situation of the works movement at sorting and isolation hospitals in the Republic. In this regard, he noted that 424 hospitals, whether affiliated with the Ministry of Health or the University, were dedicated to providing health-isolation and treatment services for cases of the virus.
On the current situation of contracting and supplying anti-Corona vaccines, the Minister reiterated that the total number of doses supplied was more than 72 million, of which some 39 million were consumed, and that the total number of doses now available was about 34 million, sufficient to vaccinate some 17 million citizens. Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and other doses of various vaccines are being received throughout the month, noting that the daily vaccination rate is currently around 500,000 doses, between the first and second doses.
Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar noted that, within a matter of hours, the start-up mechanisms for vaccination of the 15 - 18-year-old with the Pfizer vaccine, of which there were currently about 8 million doses, would be announced, stating that as of November 15, university access would not be granted to those who had not received the antiretroviral vaccine.
The Minister also addressed the launch of the Egyptian health passport application, as well as the issuance of the certificate of vaccination and the "QR Code" for passengers.
