The Minister of Housing is following the progress of the operational position of the "Sur Majrah al-Aoun" development project.

Dr. Asim Al - Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Facilities and Urban Communities, has followed the progress of the project for the development of the "Sur al - Ayyoun Zone," one of the most important development projects under way in Cairo province.

The Minister of Housing said: There are directives from the political leadership that the city of Cairo should be restored to its urban development and that it should be able to exercise its economic, technological and tourist role. The concrete structure of a number of buildings in the project has been completed in parallel with the implementation of internal and external work. The rest of the buildings are being carried out in advanced proportions.

Dr. Asim Al-Jazzar stressed that the historic Cairo development projects that have been carried out are aimed at upgrading one of the most important areas in Cairo, in conjunction with the urban renaissance that Egypt is experiencing during the reign of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sissa, either by expanding the urban area by establishing new cities or by developing existing ones.
